This application offers a comprehensive solution for tracking vehicles and objects, aiding companies in optimizing operational processes through real-time data. The GPS-Explorer mobile app for iOS devices such as iPhone, iPad, and iPod provides a portable interface that enables fleet managers to monitor vehicle locations, statuses, and other relevant information on the go.

The app transmits data live via GPSoverIP™, DATAoverIP™, and CANoverIP™ services, granting users immediate access to insights on fleet economy, route adherence, operational progress, consumption, and costs. It supports live updates, allowing for efficient tracking and management of multiple assets simultaneously.

Prerequisites include registered and activated GPSauge hardware along with a valid GPSoverIP™ account. Users should verify account activation prior to installation for seamless operation.

Key functionalities include:

<li>Real-time location tracking: Quickly determines the closest vehicle or object to a specified destination.</li>
<li>Current status monitoring: Provides live updates on vehicle positions, movement history, and operational statuses.</li>
<li>Environmental data: Displays cargo temperature (with compatible accessories) and other sensor information such as vehicle voltage.</li>
<li>Resource availability: Checks whether taxis or other fleet vehicles are available or occupied.</li>
<li>Fleet management: Enables administrators to oversee the entire fleet remotely, assign jobs, and communicate directly with drivers.</li>
</ul>

The app’s map view offers a global overview of all tracked assets, with fresh data updating every second to facilitate live monitoring. Users can customize map settings, toggle between satellite or street views, and activate additional status information as needed.

Additional features include:
<ul>
<li>Vehicle details: Status boards, indicator lights, temperature readings, digital status updates (such as door contacts), vehicle voltage, email notifications, address resolution, altitude data, and GPS signal quality.</li>
<li>Map tools: Local search capabilities, pinpoint marking with pins, sharing options via WebAccess for collaboration, manual position transmission, FMS data display, timeline and replay functions, speed statistics, theft protection mechanisms, alarm features, navigation guidance via external maps, and automatic login functionality.</li>
</ul>

This solution facilitates fleet oversight directly from mobile devices—empowering managers to make timely decisions and maintain optimal operation standards while in the field.
